The Free Medical Clinic has a licensed on-site
pharmacy open limited hours. A Pharmacist is on duty 20 hours
weekly to serve clinic patients. The FMC pharmacy will see eligible
residents of Winchester City, Frederick County, and Clarke County.
Patients receiving medications must meet eligibility requirements
and have a green patient eligibility card.
NEW PRESCRIPTIONS AND REFILLS
New prescriptions must be brought to the FMC
during office hours, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
If you are eligible for the Pharmaceutical Patient Assistance
Program, you will be notified when your prescriptions are available.
Refills can be dropped off during office hours, Monday –
Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., or called in at any time
by using our refill line at (540) 536-1686. Please have your bottles
with you when you call. You will be asked to leave the following
information:
1. Your name
2. Your date of birth
3. Prescription number
4. Name of the medication
Prescriptions will be dispensed for current
eligible patients based on the following schedule:

Limited prescriptions are filled based on
our pharmacy formulary. Medications not available include psychotropic
drugs, birth control, narcotics, and pain relievers.
FEES
There is an administrative fee for
all medications that you receive from the pharmacy. If you
live in Winchester City, Frederick County or Clarke County,
the administrative fee is $2.00 for each thirty day
supply of medication and $5.00 for each ninety day supply of
medication.
